Microscopic Matter-detail
A microscopic photograph of a chemical in polarized light was the inspiration for this piece. The photograph was taken by Zdenka Jenikova of the Czech Republic. The color was applied to the fabric with D’Uva fabric pastels, and was machine quilted with glitter and clear thread.
